I am in the process of trying to fix this old Allied Liesure pinball machine I have. It worked fine for years and then just up and quit. The lights light up but the main board apparently isn't happy. The board is showing an error that usually means a voltage issue according to the manual. I did a little reading and found out the thing runs on 5V DC. Somehow AC power is getting through. When I test the output from the power supply I get about 5.8V DC and 15V AC. I'm usually pretty good with this sort of stuff, but I just don't know enough about these old power supplies. I have another power supply for parts that is missing a handful of parts, but for the most part they are there, so I can steal stuff off of that if I need to. Any insight on where to start? Does anyone have any resources on these things?

It sounds like the rectifier bridge is shorted across one or more legs. You can steal the bridge (or rectifiers) off of the other power supply but I suggest rebuilding your power supply with new parts.
