"Limp" Flipper Problems on Judge Dredd and Gottlieb Stargate

Both of these had coils replaced, but the flippers are still so "weak" that they feel "limp", barely able to push a ball up more than a few inches. Anyone have any idea what this? If specific to the boards on each, what needs to be done and who fixes them?

Could be as simple as dirty contacts at the flipper button. If not that then check the voltage to the coil.

A couple of things can cause wimpy flippers.....check the flipper end-of-stroke switches, make sure they're adjusted properly and not pitted/carbon covered (file clean if needed).....check the flipper button switches, make sure they're not out of adjustment. They might, also, need to be filed clean......make sure not mounting hardware is loose on the flipper assembly, check all screws/nuts/bolts associated with it. If something is loose it can cause binding. You can usually feel binding....move the flipper bat with your hand. It should be fluid & smooth.....also, the plunger could be "mushrooming" and dragging on the inside of the coil. I assume new coil sleeves were puyt on with the new coils?

ANy of you guys know where I can get Flipper Rebuild KIts for Stargate and Judge Dredd? I can't seem to locate the correct one via the pinball websites but I may be looking incorrectly.
