there are 2 lights that are on top of , i believe, relays that are inside the cabinet. they aren't the ones on the playfield, they are below , probably used to light the inside of the cabinet up for service. sorry, thats the best i can describe them
He's talking about the light Bally uses on the delay relay They use a flasher light a #455 I believe so when the slam switch on the coin door is activated the relay kicks on and locks out the coin mechs and wont let you start a game. Then when the flasher bulb gets hot it kicks out and releases the relay thus opening up the coin mechs again. Anyway to answer the OP question it doesn't matter if it's burnt out or not cause it's not going to prevent gameplay, if your worried about it you can check the light by activating the slam switch on the coin door and see if it lights up. Whatever you do make sure to only use a flasher type bulb otherwise the delay relay will remain on all the time which is not good.Say what?
