I am looking to trade my lighthouse for a fairly small redemption game. The game needs to be less than 29" wide, 30" deep, and less than 78" high. Please reply here or PM me if you are interested in trading. This game is also for sell $450 Price Negotiable. Will trade for any ticket redemption games, counters, etc... Anything dealing with tickets or anything coin-operated.

If you could tell me how to win on one of those goddamn things, Id be forever in your debt. And I would share all the iPods and cameras I would obtain.

I had one of these machines. It's the biggest scam in the world. It's controlled by # of plays which is set by the operator (ME). It will pay out exactly as instructed. I remember setting it to pay out every 50 plays, which I thought was cool, but my kids got pissed to hell.....eventually I changed it to pay out every 10 plays....all was happy after that.

I'm sure that the ones that have Ipods, cameras, etc. are set to pay out every few thousand plays.....you have to be the ONE to win a prize. No matter how close you get to winning, it will not give anything until it hits the mark set by the operator. NOW YOU KNOW..

lol......

Here's the bigger scam ...

If a dishonest operator (is there such a thing in this industry ?) doesn't
want it to ever pay out (this applies to Stacker and Lighthouse) he will
occasionally set the machine to super easy (1 in 10 chance of winning)
then play the game to win and reset it back to the hardest level. This
clears the winning stats in the machine so it will basically never pay out.

And remember, knowing is half the battle !

The Lighthouse machine, as far as I can remember, did not have an easy/medium/hard mode. You actually set the # where it would pay out (The operator has full control)....it's crazy, but that's the name of the game. You want to make money....lol

That's basically what I was referring to. You set it to 1 in 10, play it, win. Then
you set it back to the maximum. This resets the stats. Stacker has a few extra
settings for difficulty.

This way it can never actually pay out if a crooked operator doesn't
want it to.

I know in NJ the Stacker needs a special ROM which makes it a skill only
game (no percentaging) but I don't know if that was also required for
Lighthouse.

I don't work on the "instant win" games any more and I don't miss them.
I think it's a crock putting an Ipad or some expensive gadget on display for
some poor kid who dumps what little money he has into the machine thinking
he's got a chance to win it.

Ahhhh...Im actually surprised for some reason. I didn't know that those machines were programed like that. I actually thought there was skill involved in winning. LOL.

Now that pisses me off. Those poor kids dumping their money into something that they think they can win, all the while, they didn't even have a chance. I'm glad I know that, because I was thinking about buying one and getting really really good at it, then racking up the expensive prizes once a week at the local bowling alley. Now I know thats not possible. Glad I didn't drop a grand or so on a machine. Hahaha!

Bump.....$450 -- Comes with DBA and Minor Prizes. DBA seems add more credits than it should when a $20 bill is inserted..haven't tried any other bills.
