bought some lift off remover today from lowes. One is for oil based and the other for latex based paints. Somebody painted a black stripe on each side of my pole position that i've been wanting to remove for over a year now. So today i tried it out.

I started out with a heat gun and that got me no where quick. Next was goof off which was extremely slow. Next was the lift off. It took about a total of 10-15 mins using a scraper. it works a lot like citristrip. It bubbles up quickly and falls right off. i tried the oil based first and although it worked it, it wasnt working that great. tried the latex next and bingo it was falling off the cab.

Definitely try this if you have some paint to remove.

Cool.
Would you recommend that for any Atari side art?

I would be careful trying it on any cab that is painted. it would prolly remove the original paint. Any cab where the sideart is a stick on graphic i would try it.

Like Food Fight?

I'm using the latex version of this stuff on my Food Fight right now. It's definitely taking the latex paint off, and no damage to my vinyl artwork yet.
My cab must have like 10 coats of latex on it though because I have to work with a brush several times to strip out an area.
