Wow these have really skyrocketed in price!. Sold mine for $190 about 5 years ago.

I suppose these things are always going to be worth what someone is willing to pay at the time. Supply and demand. Perhaps I should have held on to the one I sold about 6 MONTHS AGO!!!!! :)

I have no idea why this board is worth so much. I got rid of mine a while back. The person relisted it on Ebay for a sizable amount. It was then re sold. I have no regrets. I can't find myself paying upwards of 250 or so for a board when I can get a full cabinet for that price. The game can be easily emulated. I see worth in non emulated, four player, uniquely controlled and linkable games. I'd sale when the market is good. Konami is explosive right now.

I have the game in the 138 in 1 but I would sure love the original. I had a post in the WTB section a few months ago but ever response was 500 plus. I would do 400 shipped but that is the limit to the budget for a pcb, unless it's Primal Rage 2.

Free bump, good seller here.

Again, the price of ANYTHING is going to be what a buyer and seller agree to exchange. You can list things for whatever you want...if someone is willing to give you that...that's the value. The recent market has shown that there are some buyers willing to pay $500+ for them. When those buyers are exhausted, the "value" will come down (or the boards won't sell).

...but like the fine print on all those investment commercials you see and hear, "Past performance does not guarantee future returns." Just because something is "worth" something today, doesn't mean it will command that price tomorrow....

Shump prices for all shmups are climbing right now. Some Cave shmups are going for 700-1000$. Not to mention games like Batrider, and the toaplan stuff.

Get what you can for what you've got....:D
GLWS!

This sold locally. Thanks.

Glad you sold it. Now the price policing and people saying irrelevant things on your post can stop.

Seriously everyone - let people sell their stuff. If you can't afford it or don't want to pay it just move on.

It will go up in value. My intention was not a "price police" maneuver just a positive observation.
good on you for the sale!

AGREED...let people sell their stuff. No need to price police. If a buyer lists that the price is "negotiable", then negotiate (privately). If listed as a fixed price, and the asking is too much for you, wait until you see an offer you like. (NOTE: this is not directed at any of the comments in this thread...just a general observation from my buying/selling experiences here on KLOV). I'd like to see the forum remain a resource for COLLECTORS, and not become (more of) an arcade eCommerce site...but I suppose that's wishful thinking. :)
