Lexington, Kentucky area arcade collectors get in here!

Sometimes I feel isolated from other collectors by living here in Lexington.

Yeah, there's a used arcade shop downtown, but it is full retail- +20% and the guy that runs it is kind of a dick and caters to the single-game arcade novelty crowd.

Then there's the guys I work with- older guys give blank stares when describing my arcades and younger guys that think it's cool, but never even heard of most games and too young to have ever been in an actual arcade.

The people I have bought/sold with always live in surrounding states ie: Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, or some winding holler down in Eastern KY.

I would like to make some friends with fellow collectors, if any, in the general area, within a 40 mile radius.
Preferred similar profile:
Married
Kids
Age 34 (-10 years or +10 years)
More than one game

Well how you doing. There are several collectors in Louisville that fit your profile. I'm across the bridge in Indiana 35yrs old 3 kids married more games than I can count on my hands and feet yours to for that matter. If your ever around drop me a mess. Tony

Tusk, you may want to reach out to Chuck Paskovics at jeditemplearchives.com. He's from the Lexington area and a great guy. He's a gamer and toy collector. You can tell him FETT sent you.

I'm a bit further than 40 miles, but what the hell. I live right down the road from TonyH. I also have more games than I could count and love to meet other collectors. I am married with kids and I am 36 yrs old. We had a get together here in Louisville this past summer. We need to do it agian sometime soon. Another Klover ANTZ has a bar/restaraunt here and he has a lot of cool games at his place. We met there last time but I think TonyH should host this time. Since he didn't make it last time. LOL. His set up is top notch!!!!! Anyway, I go to lexington for the Basketball games sometimes, maybe I could stop in on you. My place is open anytime.

You guys know there is a big Louisville Arcade and Pinball show slated for the weekend of March 4, right?

I'm in Lexington. I don't exactly fit your profile (I'm single, no kids) but I'm a collector nontheless. I have about a dozen games.

I typically have driven to Cinty to pick up games or even Louisville. If you ever need someone to help you pick up a game feel free to contact me.

Thought I'd throw my info in here too. I'm in Lexington as well. 32, married, but no kids (I have dogs though (Great Danes), does that count?).

I have quite a few games. Most are in need of some repair. They're either in my garage or in storage in Floyd Co. I really need to find time and space to work on them.

Actually, I'll probably start trying to unload some of my games (about 15) this spring/summer. I'd really like to trade multiple machines for a pinball machine or 2. But I'll save that for another thread.

Wow. I just found this thread, so sorry to not post before now. I'm in Shelbyville (between Lou. and Lex.) and would love to do some kind of a meetup.

I can certainly vouch for jjman and Antz (and other collectors here in Louisville that I've met). I've heard a lot about TonyH's setup but have never met and am looking forward to doing so! Everyone local (that I've met thus far) is great and loves the games.

I'm in the same (married/kids/39yo) profile as well. I've got a dozen or more games, most in varying states of repair. ;)

If you didn't make it to the Lou. expo, catch a recap on my website:

Thanks,

Since the thread has been resurrected, I'm just down the street from JJ in Sellersburg, IN. Married, 3 kids, 32 yrs old.
