Lexan Sides?

Randy, you have to understand that if there are semantics to be argued, Maxim will make sure it happens.

It is clear that the op is talking about putting a sheet of lexan on the sides of cab. Similar to the way ops used to "overlay" thier cpo's to protect them. Maybe his wording isn't up to maxim's standards, but everyone understands what he meant.

The OP probably isn't aware of all your rules and was just using English to convey his question.

Is that a joke? You're the only one that made up rules in this thread, i.e.:

"I think he specified. He stated "overlays", and paper-thin stuff doesn't overlay anything meaningfully without adhesive. And that's when it becomes laminate"

And then your rule of interpretation which precluded an equally legitimate alternate interpretation:

"In stating "doing lexan overlays for CPOs is common" he inferred the creation of another item to be placed atop the CPO."

I'm not the one that said he specified thick or thin in his OP (in fact I said that he didn't); you did; based on your homemade rules.

You seem oblivious to various aspects of common-speak by the way, such as how the word "nerd" is normally used, and how the word "plexi" is commonly used.

I think I'll defer to his explanation, should he choose to provide one.

Good idea. That's been my position all along (you know, when I said he didn't specify). You're the one that thought he actually did specify based on your made-up rules; which I'm willing to bet that he is unaware of; I mean, who knew that CPOs aren't really CPOs, but rather, CPLs?

I'm finding that out.
