Let's Talk About TMNT

I love this game! It was one of those games that I poured lots of quarters into. While it is more fun playing it with friends,I still enjoy playing it.
To me the only downside is that the cab takes up a lot of space, but I'd still love to get this game.

It takes up a lot of space, but you can swap out other games like Simpsons, Sunset Riders, Turtles in Time, etc. for some nice multiplayer action.

Yeah he's a total pain in the ass to defeat. The strategy I use is basically stick to jump kicks and keep away from him if you can.

Funny TMNT arcade story....back when I only had .

My strategy on the last few bosses was to stay away from them and let the other 3 schmucks waste their quarters.

Great game I have many fond memories of. Also, the first game that got me into this hobby.

Here's mine:

Skip to 6:26. My TMNT is actually a conversion from a Desert Assault.

I recently bought a 4p Turtles in Time board that I'm planning to throw in there with a jamma switcher, once I figure out how to rig up the 3p/4p harnesses.

My TMNT should arrive sometime by the end of this week. Once I get it cleaned up I'll post some pics.

I'd be curious about that too. I want to put a few different 4-player Konami games in the cab. Or I'll just do it the old fashion way and manually swap out the boards. Not sure how easily accessible the JAMMA harness is in Konami cabs.

Get the harness from Bob, it should be the same for TMNT and TIT and whatever other Konami games you can put in there (except x-men).

Edit: My harness just arrived today actually, I'll let you know how it goes.

Played it a ton as a kid. Owned one for a while. Got tired of it since there was no challenge just pumping credits in to beat it. Became a chore, so sold it off. Still great memories.

Anyone know if the multi colored player number stickers for the coin doors were from the factory? I can't find a picture of them on google. They were color coded for each turtle and player number. My description sucks, but someone's gotta know what I'm talking about.

Yes, those are factory. I have a set of these stickers, along with all NOS artwork, waiting for my TMNT restore.

You're probably right. I just put in an order for repro art for my TMNT restore yesterday. Almost $300 later it's on its way...

Who did you buy it from? I know I'm going to need a new CPO for mine.

Which BTW I will pick up the cab tomorrow morning. Can't wait!!

Game on Grafix of course! I don't want to seem like I'm complaining about their prices, I'm sure it's worth it. Just seems like a lot when it's twice as much as I paid for the whole cabinet. :p
