They came in generic Dynamo HS1 cabs but had really unique controls. Wico Leaf sticks and Japanese optical spinners where you had to hold down the fire. How awesome is that?

I recently got a very good condition one. Anyone want to discuss?

I played it so much that my arm got sore...

Used to play this all the time on the Genesis. Only time I ever saw and played one in the wild was at Beaver Mountain Waterslides when I was about 11 years old.

zfcamaro has, or had, one. Don't think I've ever played it.

apparently it's very hard to find now. Bill E has parts for some of them and I have an empty CP for one that was stamped for a Capcom 6 layout also. (pre-corner cut)

Many of these may have been converted to SF2 machines once that craze got started. The Board is CPS1 so it's another donor to fix your dead SF2 board...

...

Its actually great to see that people are looking for this game. 10 years ago I had one and many collectors made fun of me for having it. I currently have a nos panel, marquee and bezel. Just waiting on a board to finish my game ;)

I played the hell out of this in High School, even skipped school a few times to beat it.

I think that the Spinners are the spinners and control panel are the hardest part to find. Boards can be found right?

..

Spinners are extremely hard.
and the board is pretty hard to find also.

It would be great if someone could scan their side art.

Jon

I can't scan it but I may just take a high res picture of it since mine is in pretty good condition.
For some way the side art is holding together better than the vinyl sides... they seemed to pull away from the side art and tear a little exposing the particle board that HS1 cabs are made of.

Kind of makes it easy to get a clean line on the edge. I think that the CPO overlay will be harder to get NOS since I don't think there were kits of this game and everything was applied so it would be impossible to get it scanned.

I donated a beautiful Forgotten Worlds to ACAM (a.k.a. Funspot) in Weirs Beach, NH a couple of years ago. Just an FYI for anyone who lives in the northeast who would like to play it again.

Awesome game, one of my keepers.

I saw someone selling a set of the spinners for $400.

zfcamaro has, or had, one. Don't think I've ever played it.

Yup, sold it to a guy in California. He paid $280ish for the game and shipped it for $500. He was more than happy at the time and later told me his max bid was $700 because like exidy said they seem to be tough to find now.....

I had one about 10 years ago. It was pretty fun, but I ended up parting it out and trashing the cab. In my defense, I DID try to sell it as a whole unit first, but no one was interested.

When I first bought it, I played the heck out of it. After a couple months, it got pretty boring pretty quick.

I have one and I am always on the fence about it.....

I got it and keep it because it was the sequel to my favorite game from High School - Sidearms. I actually just walked up from the basement from playing it - I am having some friends over tonight and was testing each machine.

I picked mine up from a guy I was convinced was on Meth. There was a little bit of damage to the cabinet, but the control panel, and everything else is in amazing shape. There was a box of raisins in the bottom of the cabinet that had been there for about 10 years.

My hope is to get a really nice Section Z then I can have all three machines next to each other and have a complete set....
