I haven't seen as many cabs come and go as a lot of people on here, so I was wondering what was this? There is faux woodgrain under the red paint. The bottom of the cab is rotting out, and the sides are water damaged near the bottom. It was a mouse home at some point. I'd like to know what it was before I decide it's fate. Anyway thanks guys, I'm sure this won't be hard.

Similar ... but not the same. Look at the Control Panel area... The OP's cab goes straight down... Capcom Bowling has a lip out front.

....and of course different coin doors.

Plus it's got a midway coin door.

Yeah it looks midway. Except maybe it was one without the logo plate? There are no holes or signs that one was ever there. The interior of the coin door is a glossy light brown (not powder-coated) and has a factory looking sticker that says manufactured by Vendall Machines Ltd. (Canada).

Kinda looks like a Birdie King 2 cabinet but red?. which way is the monitor that might hepl narrow it down.

It's vertically oriented. It may not have been vertically mounted originally, as it looks like someone made an insert out of plywood to mount it that way. It had a WG-19" K4600 in it. No labels or logos (except the coin door) are anywhere inside the cabinet. Again, the faux woodgrain has been painted over, and the interior is mostly a brown laminate. The marquee area uses a standard incandescent light socket, although the marquee area is much slimmer than most marquees.

the coin door is wrong, but if it was woodgrained under the red, it looks a heck of a lot like a frogger cab to me that some op mangled a bit.

You're right, other than the coin door being taller, it looks almost exactly like a Frogger cab, minus the bezel.

Yeah, it's definitely one of those bootleg style cabs. They also were used for Mr Do, Lady Bug and...you'll never guess...Crazy Kong :D

And one with a Donkey Kong marquee, from a CL ad:

Not sure what you'll do about the missing bezel and control panel though. They're formed plastic. The CP has a 90 degree bend in it (where it bolts into the front) and the bezel has a bend in the back to go vertical. Although I suppose a regular bezel and just some artwork in the back would probably work too.

The bezel and control panel were removed a long time ago. I pulled off the CP that was there, because it was a terrible hack job. I think I know what I'm going to do with it now. It's sort of a lost cause anyway. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't some sort of rarity before I trashed it.
