I dont think anyone can score that much on the hardest setting, or even get close you only get 750 units of fuel. I have scored enought for 2nd on the 1st setting. I believe the world record was set on the this setting. That will be a question for Twin Galaxies, before I start filming. Here is a link, and they dont say what mission. The Mame record was set using the 1st setting you can tell by how much fuel it takes to slow down to hit the X5, on the left of the top peak. Try that on any other setting and you will see you burn way way way more fuel.
Dave you should try too. I know you have a nice Lander.

It was on the easiest setting...
You just get to going to fast on the harder settings and use up to much fuel to really rack up the high scores on the harder missions. When I did this score

Oh and Blades is full of crap and he knows it. I really haven't played any LL for like 3-4 months after getting that high score back in Sep. As far as the settings for LL I have not contacted a TG ref but the way I understand it is if there is no mention of specifics then its anything goes for that particular title and you can do anything you can to get the high score unless noted ie some kind of bug that you can use as a cheat.
Speaking of Dave's aka ArcRivival's LL that's actual what got me interested in trying to master this game. I went to one of Dave's arcade parties last summer and seen his mint LL and played a few games on it and got hooked. Prior to last summer I don't think I have played the game since way back in the day when i was a wee little tike and if I recall I really sucked at it back then and ran out of quarters quickly. But I really like the simplicity of this game and how it uses gravity and coming out of orbit inertia in it just like the real thing would be (sort of). The geek in my just thinks this is a really cool game. Hope you beat the TG arcade record. I also hope to get some time in front of a camera on the real thing to try to beat it someday.

Well since I didnt film it I have to do it again!!! I have learned a few new tricks. I might try to break it at the Seattle show. They will have offical refs there!!

Congratulations. I hope to have my LL ready to go by this fall. Will be tearing down the cabinet this summer and redoing it all. Going to document it and then make arun for the record as well.
