Ok so if you guys are in the NY,NJ,PA, DE area and troll Craigslist no doubt you have seen countless ads for "Winter Classic" hockey tickets. This spammer added "Arcade" as a keyword which is very annoying and pops up on my phone 10-12x a day for the last month.

I have asked them several times politely so either stop spamming Craigslist or just remove the word "arcade" from their ads. When they didn't I reported them to Craigslist.

Finally I gave up and figured the ads would stop when the winter classic hockey game ended - nope! They are still posting for tickets to a game that already happened.

So my friends I ask of you to join me & help stop this spammer clogging up our Craigslist arcade alerts!

Here is their ad on Craigslist for reporting:
http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/tid/2782548855.html

Here is their website contact us form (no phone number)
http://www.eboxofficetickets.com/contact.aspx

And finally their Facebook page if you want to post to their wall (they banned me already):
http://www.facebook.com/EBoxOfficeTickets

Thanks fellow arcade and craigslist lovers. May 2012 bestow you a barn-full of dust covered grails for $100 each.

:0)

Wasnt the hockey game this past weekend? The spamming should stop, atleast for those tickets :)

Edit, I guess I should read your whole post!

Thanks guys...

I hope they finally get the message. The Craigslist alerts on my phone were driving me batty for weeks. You know how it is - every time it beeps I think I am about to find a DOT, Zoo Keeper or other grail for free "get it out of my basement" :0P

"This posting has been flagged for removal."

One small victory eh?

That was only one of them. Look at how many hundreds of others they have active:

http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/search/tid?query=arcade&srchType=A&minAsk=&maxAsk=

That will take a while to flag all of those if people are so inclined....

This is the hidden tiny text keywords they have in every post:
interdum tortor Etiam Aliquam porttitor nulla nisi orci Suspendisse sit Quisque Mauris feugiat mauris dictumst elit sodales Fusce pellentesque porta In nec ac potenti massa risus Vestibulum libero Pellentesque quis Pellentesque est ipsum Donec est vel ipsum lectus Phasellus lectus sit sem ut Aliquam ornare sem magna pellentesque augue felis est mi mauris metus fringilla elit pharetra purus diam leo V vs versus season tickets club lower level suite parking SRO standing room only loge front row single front row first terrace lofts suites suite premium seats sidelines side line corner mezzanine event endline general admission soccer 2011 houston dynamo LA Los Angeles Galaxy

"Arcade" comes from the post the "arcade seats" clause that is in the normal text.

To the OP: Use his spamming keywords to your advantage! If you want to exclude this guys listings from the search, just add in a -Suspendisse as no real arcade ad will use that word but is in every one of his listings.

Here's your top-level search to remove them automatically:
http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/search/?areaID=17&subAreaID=&query=arcade+-Suspendisse&catAbb=sss

Edit: Holy crap... just search for the keyword.. he has 1000 posts! http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/search/sss?query=Suspendisse&srchType=A&minAsk=&maxAsk= Don't think anyone here will spend time flagging them all.

Thanks Pac-Fan!

Good thinking about the filter. I will have to see if the Craigslist alerts I use on my Android phone allow for that. If not I will find another one.

Um, why not just add "-tickets" to your CL search phrase so that ads like that don't pop up any more? That's why I do.

There was a guy spamming all of the FL CLs for concert tickets, really bad. I just used "-concert" instead of tickets because of redemption machines and such that might pop up. Like Pac-Fan said just use one of his other keywords that will never pop up in an actual game listing.

What are all those keywords? Latin? or nonsense?

translate.google.com sez:

We make no more arrow Search This is How We Buy Shoes, members of the gate here is a sample Blockquote In a free and powerful mass of Read More We Learn This is the very We read more or Link Shem This page is great I bought more Read more here here here is my fear of your 5 a lion

Seems like some placeholder text in whatever program he uses to flood craigslist with automated postings. He didn't delete it and instead just appended his keywordds to the end of it.
