One of my top 5 games also. Played it at Pizza Hut back in the day. Worked there right after high school. They had that and an Omega Race cocktail. A buddy and I got fired from there because we used to stay after close and drink the tap beer for free and play the games half the nite. Good times....

Didn't level 3 or 4 have a pretty tricky jump in it too about half way thru?

I wanna bump this, because this game is so amazing. Still not getting to far in level 3, however just started playing again after a while. Gonna go play some in a minute. Any one else with thoughts/discussion/tips?

Which one is level 3 again? The one with the first dragon at the end?

I think so, the first level is 2 stone heads, then level two is 4, I havent seen the boss at 3 but im almost certain its a dragon. I am not using the continue feature.

So it's the one where you go up, and then have to jump from pillar to pillar a lot with the bats? What part of the level's giving you trouble? It's been maybe 3 years since I plugged my board in, so my memory of the levels is a little vague/fuzzy.

yea it has all the short pillar pieces that you can only jump to and from, not climb. Its a huge level, I can't find the dungeon and at the top of the level theres places I have no idea how to get to. I keep getting killed by mummies, rocks and random tough guys (guys with shield, some are tougher than normal, drop more coin)

On the pillars you may have to jump forward, draw the bats out, them jump back and attack them, so they don't hit you.

Mummies I try to attack low and fast.

The hard orcs, attack, if they don't die quickly, jump back, and resume attacking when they get in range.

I don't remember where the dungeon is, but to get to the upper parts of the level, head up and right, and then stay on the pillars and keep going left towards the end of the level (assuming I remember correctly).

really great

I agree the game is a pretty vintage Capcom action platformer.
It's got smaller sprites than Magic Sword and the screen doesn't get as busy. This game is pretty hard although. When I was a kid one of my best friends was a pro at this game and I totally sucked.

Magic Sword also is a fav of mine. Recently I got a beautiful Forgotton Worlds and I think it's really great.

magic sword, Im gonna go check that out now I have it I think. I love this game though. The day I beat it on one quater is gonna be insane.
