While System16 is great, it is, for one thing, seriously lacking on information about newer hardware. Furthermore, it's one guy fielding hundreds of emails, and the Internet has better ways to do that kind of thing now. Here's a little experiment I'm starting today.
The Arcade Hardware Wiki!
It's supposed to be like System16, but a Wiki, and far more comprehensive, including pinouts, schematics, capkit lists, flowcharts (where copyright permits), and anything someone with a broken machine might find useful. I'm including monitor information too -- go ahead and start a K7000 or G07 page, etc. I'm going to be jotting down stuff from memory about machines I know, mostly PC-based and redemption hardware. Please, pour your knowledge into it!
For now I'm not going to import anything from System16 but instead just link to it at the bottom... I'll shoot Toby an email later asking if I can pull stuff in.
