ipdb reviews are ALL over the place for this game, anyone here have spent any time with it? I saw a decently priced one but wasn't sure if it's something I'd want as my second of probably only three pins. It's priced at $800.00.

I've had one for about a year and half. It's a pretty fun game, and non pinball people really like it cause of longer ball times(My wife loves it and says I can never sell it). For the price, its one of the cheaper DMD titles and I have not gotten tired of mine yet. It's a great game to bash the ball around, and I love the spiral ramp. Not sure I would want it if I only had 3 slots though. I have seven at the moment. Not many other DMD games your gonna find in the under $800 range.

I've had my LW3 for almost a year now. I enjoy the machine very much. It is not a difficult machine and has a respectable set of rules to keep gameplay fun. The film clips are the one corney aspect of the game to me but all in all I find it to be really great fun. I did set mine to a hard level the day I got it as it was too easy initially. For a fun DMD machine I am stunned at how inexpensive these are, I paid about the same for mine in excellent conditions. The interesting part of your question is how would it do in a collection of only 3 machines. I am fortunate to have over 20 pins and a bunch of videos on top of that so I can spread the playing time around to keep everything fresh. Even with all of the other machines LW3 is easily in the top 4 most played so I would say yes it has the staying power to stand on its own in a smaller collection. Worst case if you tire of it for the money it should be pretty easy to unload without risk of much loss. Best of luck with the purchase.

Thanks for the responses! Jurassic Park, better or worse game than Lethal Weapon 3? I've never played either.

JP is much better than LW3 but also commands a higher price as well. It is on my short list for next addition to my collection.

If you are a fan of the Lethal Weapon movies, it will add alot to the appeal of the game. Fun game with alot of memorable quotes from the movie. Might not last in a home setting though, not that much to do. But the for $800, or maybe even bargain for less, sounds like a fair deal

Thanks for all the comments! I'm pretty sure the price is firm, but I know a guy that's getting rid of a JP, not sure what kind of condition it's in though.
