I have a lead on a cheap Lethal Enforcers but the guy says that one gun cuts out during the middle of game play. He said it starts and plays fine for a while then nothing. Player 1 works fine. My question would be how hard of a fix and how expensive. I know this is a broad and general question just seeing if I should pass and wait for a fully working game.

Thanks.

The gun just cuts out? Could be a cold solder joint on the optic inside the gun, or maybe a wiring issue with the gun moving around. Or maybe even a problem with the screen brightness. Dunno about any hardware problems that would make the gun stop working halfway thru a game. I'd try swapping the guns and seeing if the problem moves with the gun...

Thanks Mod. Just thought I would get some info before I go there so I can fiddle a bit and get a feeling what might be happening.

That's the exact same problem I had with my Lethal Enforcers gun. The wire that attaches to the gun pcb was loose. I'd shake the gun around and it would work. Took it apart and secured the wire, worked fine after that. Also, cleaned the lense and the monitor and turned the brightness up.

BTW, I sold my Lethal Enforcers for $100. The monitor kinda sucked though. I wouldn't pay more than $200 for a nice one. Good luck!

If it is that great a price and all I don't know that I would 'fiddle' with it at Dude's place. I also wouldn't want to fiddle with something for sale just in case my fiddling messes it up. :)

Also, if it is acting up you should get a better price than if you fix it for Dude.

Just a thought.
