I recognized this ad as soon as I saw this post. I went back to my letgo messages and it says I contacted him on 6/12/16 to request more pics. There was no response and the ad sometime later said not available, so this person has had it for a while. The very small pic left from the old message I sent looks as if there were no wheels and the CP may have been updated because I see no blue and red buttons but it's hard to tell from such a small pic. It could be a good deal as everyone knows they don't come up all that often. But with no responses who knows what's been done to the cab although it looks pretty sharp from what is shown. Maybe someone will get a good deal on a cool cab.
"condition should not be a factor".
The post was deleted but since I messaged him on letgo it kept our one sided conversation on my page. I did contact him today and got a response to condition and what is original.
I wrote, "Saw your ad on letgo and I'm wondering if you could give some more detail to the condition of the cab. Are there any signs of original paint under the black? Is the wiring or original internal parts available or gone? Can I get some pics of any wood fixes or the inside? I like this cab but they are usually in poor condition. Yours looks to be in good shape but the pics are hard to tell without close ups or a good description. Thanks for your time and any additional info you can give. Have a good one and talk to you later.
He sent two messages and says, "its not all original, i replaced the sidesxand front with 3/4 mdf, its wirde for Jama on o e side the other is empty... cabinet is in great shape...", the other message says, "condition should not be a factor".
Somebody could probably work this for 250 if they have done good on the repairs. Maybe 500 to get the, wiring harness, PCB and new CP's. That could get this close to original and still be in it pretty good depending on your cost range. 750 would be worth it to me if the resto workis good and 250 as is isn't bad as it sits. Lots of possibilities there for jamma with a possible solid rebuilt cab to.
I would like to get it even though I have one, but it's to far for me. Hope that info gets somebody pumped to check it out further.
Is it worth saving? I can have it for 200...
