But its just a potential number. I dont know exactly what you paid for it, but seen figures in the 100-200 range. So, even if a $6500 transaction was reversed, your loss is less than 3.5% of that. Not many things in life you can 31+ times the investment. How many For Sale listings we see where you start high and bump/drop the price by 10 or 20 bucks every other day. Were those loss leaders to make up for it here? If you were ok with a potential number on parts, what makes this different? ( Other than taking thousands not hundreds )
We are forgetting 2 main points here.

1. He knew I wasn't going to do a charge back but still wanted to bail

2. I was prepared to accommodate him AGAIN on HIS terms when the refund came in.

And yet it still wasn't good enough and ghosted/blocked and ran hoping it would
Not come back to bite him on the ass

In your own words, you said I didn't scam you, it's just that you thought you were disrespected. Those are your own words.
For the love of KLOV talk to me privately man jesus

I do feel scammed yes, scammed out of deal and $350. But yes severely disrespected,
there was no need for any of this Jonathon.
I was with you all the way, and you F'd me over for no reason.
Let's talk and put this to rest on the DM

I just realized I bought a Star Wars yoke from jonovision. And this is how he packed it. I can for sure see him being scared it wasn't going to make it if he had anything to do with the packing

You specifically said you didn't feel as though I had scammed you. Only that you had been disrespected. I'm not sure how much more clear you could have been. Those are your words not mine.

I always use things from the recycling bin. Please go back and change your feedback from positive to negative. I'm tired of having a perfect feedback score.

Nothing is biting me in the ass. I deal with transactions 100 times bigger than this all the time for a living. I'm just giving you a place to vent.

it's IRRELEVANT what was paid for an item!!!

if i paid $100 for a rare one-of-a-kind Aston Martin car. would my loss be $100? fuck no. the financial loss would the the true fair market value of the rare item in question.

But that simply not true.

If you believe what you say, try itemizing a loss like that on your taxes and see how it works out.

Try telling your insurance company that the pile of rotten plywood that you pulled out of a barn and paid $100 for was lost and you need to be reimbursed $6500 for it because that's what it was worth and see if they send you a check.

I get what you're saying, but you're conflating actual loss of investment with potential loss of profits.

I can say with 100% certainty that out of the three of us, there is only one business degree with a major in accounting.

That would make this even sadder, if you have a business degree with a major in accounting and don't understand this stuff, while I have a high school diploma and have been successful in business for decades 😂

I've said quite a few things, but these questions I do believe would clear it up once and for all:

1) Is the game still for sale? If yes, then go to question #2. If no then it does NOT MATTER.
2) If it is for sale, then what is the CURRENT asking price? If there is a current asking price and it is for sale then go to question #3
3) How would you like to be paid? A bank transfer? IF yes then proceed to question #4
4) When can that person (aka the buyer) come and pick it up.

All the rest of the stuff is accusatory nonsense. No one wins. If there are valid answers to the above questions, then please feel free.

We don't take kindly to your kind of common sense reasoning! ;)

The difference is one of us thinks the market value of an asset has something to do with the cost of acquiring it.

It was never listed for sale. It still isn't. So #1 is no.

That is EXACTLY how the Primal Rage board I bought from him was packaged. I literally called my wife over to have a laugh at how pathetically half assed it was. I didn't want to mention it as it is irrelevant to what's going on here, but find it hilarious that, apparently, he packages everything that way.

Yah I use recycling stuff. Cardboard, boxes, egg holders, whatever I have. Works well, my feedback is 100% positive, but please go change your feedback from positive to negative if it helps Harry make his point.

Nobody has commented on the "market value" of the rotten cabinet you call an "asset". But your comment reinforces my belief this this was all about greed on your part because the buyer's offer of letting you make a profit of 65 times your initial investment got you thinking that maybe you could squeeze even more profit out of the game. You probably already have that money spent in your mind and now you want even more. The great irony is that I bet you end up keeping a rotten pile of plywood and never restoring it or selling it 😂
