How many legal/licensed multi PCBs are there out there? I guess there are the Namco 20th and 25th reunion boards. I read that one of the multi Taito boards was licensed. Is there anything else?

Namco's Mario/DK/Jr.
Centi/Milli/Missile Command/Bowling
Team Play Robo/Joust
Namco Classics 1 and 2

I believe there is a Konami Classic multigame. Pretty rare though.

Yeah, I recently saw a Space Invaders multi as well. I also saw a defender that had some other games I can't remember. I'm pretty certain they were legit reissues.

There were at least 2, Defender/Defender II (I guess they can't call it Stargate), and Joust/Robotron. They use a very tiny JAMMA board (about the size of a video card in a PC), and the kit also came with artwork, joystick/buttons and a wiring harness. I assume they were legal, but I never saw very many of them, so I don't know how common they are.

How about Qix/Space Invaders?

I saw one of those at the last auction I attended - what the heck was up with that? Why did they make a multi when the two share none of the controls? How does that make sense? Not that I don't like both games, but that CP layout looks like something from a mame hellcade. What were they thinking?

I saw all these cabs at Disney and I'm just assuming that they aren't buying anything illegal. I didn't see any MAMEs or other types of mulitcades there. Just the type of stuff listed in this thread.

Maybe they were both cheap to get the license for, and they thought if the games were different enough, it'd be like having two wayyyyy different games in 1 space. I dunno. I've only seen one being operated.
