I'm in the middle of a Gorf restore. On the final stages of painting, etc.

I'm looking for advice on the leg levelers. Here are two pictures - all four plates appear "fine", with one exception - I can't stick a small screwdriver through one of them.

Should I just order new plates along with new leg levelers?

Whats the chances that the current plates can be re-used? Are the thread sizes standard?

If you can't get that one out, get the large leveler plates from Bob R. Just replace all 4 plates and get some new leg levelers while you're at it. And..yeah, the threads should be the same as new levelers. I've replaced quite a few mounting plates due to either rust or crappy design with t-nuts.

I agree, just order 4 of the big square ones and 4 new legs.

They look just like the one's on my Pacman cabinet. I had one ring off so I was gonna try and drill and tap it out but those little twisty screws holding it on the cabinet, 3 of them rung off flush with the wood so I just replaced it with the big square plate from Bob Roberts and I put 2" casters on mine. I bought a box of 48 off Ebay and gonna put them on all my games.
Their 3/8 X 16 treads,Bob sells just the plates, or the levelers or both together as a kit with mounting bolts.
Here's the ebay link for the wheels :)

He also sells them in lots of 8 or 24 if you don't need 48 :D

Thanks everyone. Yea, I started to unscrew one to take a look and yep, those "screws" holding the plate to the cabinet just snapped or stripped or both. I need to place a couple of orders today, so I'll just add 4 plates/legs to the list....

I kinda like the idea of those casters... most of my games seem a wee bit short for me anyway, and being able to move them around a bit would be cool.. as long as they don't move _too_ easily!
let us know how they work out!
cheers

Casters are definitely the way to go. My games are in the garage, and I move them around frequently. These casters come from Lowes and are a life saver. At 2", they don't raise the games off the ground much more than standard levelers.
