I have LED's in most of my machines, but I don't just throw super brights in everything, I take a lot of time making sure they aren't too bright and will throw frosted bulbs or even go back to a standard bulb in areas if needed. I've never had anyone complain about my pins being too bright, even the LED haters that come over.
I know exactly why there are so many LED haters out there.. we've all been to an Expo or someones house that had ridiculously bright or overwhelming colors in areas that made the game unplayable or just horrid. Doesn't mean LED's are all bad.
That being said, I have LED's in my STTNG and I think it's a game that shines with an LED kit.. but like I said, I had to tone down a few areas with frosted or regular bulbs in the GI's to make it work for me. Everyone that plays mine has commented at how nicely done the lighting is done on the machine.
