Oh! My bad. I take back what I said, as that definitely *does* surprise me! Those Ultra Brights are, well......ultra bright!!!
You're telling me! But the 4-LED's tested even brighter, but the extra plastic around the LED itself makes it easier on the eyes.
1800 LUX for the ultra-bright
2400 LUX for the 4-LED
Measured about 4" between the LED and the meter.
I've been taking all the info I've put together, and adding it to my website. Trying to get some real-world comparisons and evaluations of the LED's together to help people make better choices on them. So little info out there that it's real easy to buy LED's that will look terrible.
