LED Blacklight

let us know! Thats a lotta money!

I know...I'm rationalizing it all over the place. The big things for me were, I hate the look of spiral CFLs sitting up in can lights, I want a good spread of light since I am not putting in tubes (the LEDs say each spreads over 30 feet) and of course, I like cool new stuff...!

Additionally, the 25 (highest output I could find) watt CFLS are ~$20 with shipping so these cost me about $10 more per bulb which isnt completely insane.

Like I said, we'll see.

Oh, and they use 2/3 less power than the CFLs...So, after 197 years, I'll break even!

Hey, this doesnt have much to do with this thread but found it interesting. I helped install a ceiling fan the other day, and it was LED. I think thats the new market. Seemed pretty weird but it lights up the room really good.

I have yet to take pics yet but I did put this in and WOW, they are insane. 3 of these bulbs completely blanket the room in blacklight.

The room is empty right now so I'll have to see if they still provide 'pop power' once all the games are in there and on...

But I am really excited about them and they look VERY sweet in the recessed cans.

What are the dimensions of your gameroom? I have several "sections" in mine due to my basement layout and was wondering how many of these lights I would need.
