Hey everyone. Brand new to the arcade hobby. I just bought two non working games. Dig dug and lethal enforcers 2. I have a guy coming to help me with dig dug saturday, and have been doing my studying. I am looking for a set of boards for le. I found the sub pcb on ebay, but no mother board. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Well first off since this is your first post let me welcome you, Welcome to KLOV.

There is a search function up at the top where you can search for any/all posts about the Lethal Enforcers. Also if you look at the very bottom of this thread you will see similar threads. There is also a for sale for trade fs/ft fourm near the bottom of the thread subjects.

I just did a quick search for you and found this.

Have fun but check the dates on the posts, some are old. That post was from May.

kjoel, sorry to ask, but untill I get more into this hobby, I'm going to have a lot of questions. Will this run with the other components inside the LE 2 cabinet? I think all that I need is the board set.

Nope le2 wiring and monitor are not compatible with le1.

Le1 is jamma

Yes, LE1 is JAMMA. But regarding LE2 being not compatible: Are you sure about that?? Based on what information? ['cause if it's based on the KLOV database... don't rely on it; it's often all f-d up]

According to the LE2 manual (page attached), the LE2 pinout appears to comply with JAMMA to me. That is, with the exception that the speakers are on a seperate connector--presumably to have stereo, which standard JAMMA doesn't support. (LE1 was the same way).

LE 1 = Typical Konami board set where all the chips are different, but it is JAMMA...

LE 2 = Konami GX board set where they finally settled on a CPU board with interchangeable ROM/Video boards.

And since this is a WTB post, off to the WTB section it goes!
