I have a 3/4" wood CP and am interested in replacing the microswitches with leaf using leaf switch holders and long buttons. However it seems there are many different thicknesses of leaf switch holders out there. Anyone know which thickness I need?

Thanks,

Tim

The Williams wood control panels(like on StarGate) still require the short buttons.

And the larger leaf switch holders can be cut down to fit.

Right. This is because they didn't use any switch holders at all, but screwed them directly to the wood. But....its still a 3/4" panel, and the long buttons with short holders will work if you choose to go that route.

Actually the buttons holes in my StarGate control panel are drilled as smaller diameter holes in the center of larger holes, and the short buttons and thin switch holders are used.

The Defender I have has a remade CP. The buttons are not recessed like the original. Just have 1-1/8" holes drilled straight through, so the short leaf switch holders + long buttons work OK.
