Not sure if it's a wico.

Some clown put bondo on it , or it was an accident. It was working fine when pulled.

That's one of those ones that nobody's been able to prove that it's a Wico (though it's been suspected), but they're functionally interchangeable, and IMO they're actually made better than standard Wicos, as the leaf switches are held on by bolts, and not the plastic clips found on standard Wicos. Otherwise the design is very similar to Wicos, and they use the same Wico grommets, shafts, leaf switches, and they have the same bolt pattern.

The bolted on switches make for a more precise stick IMO, as the plastic Wico clips allow the switch to move around a little in the holder, whereas the bracket-mounted switches have no slop.

It might help potential buyers if you can identify if it's a 4 or 8-way. Are the holes in the top and bottom halves of the base round (8-way), or diamond shaped (4-way)?

Good point, I think it's an 8-way. I'll report back.

Edit: Looks like it has a round/circular hole in the bottom. When I move it diagonally it hits both leafs.

To answer this question it is a Wico Standard 4 & 8 Way Joystick (15-951901 and 15-904001). The standard Wico joysticks had screw on leafs and the Heavy Duty (most common replacement) had the snap in switches. The HD replacements became the most common and they had 5 part numbers depending on 2,4,8, and long of short shaft
