I keep hearing about gun sensors, and tubes needed to make the guns work. If I were to try to make My Carnevil kit into a Golden Tee 2011 style LCD monitor game is it gonna work, or am I gonna have to figure out how to make it work?

Won't work - period.

So even using sensors like on the House of the Dead 3 wont work? There has to be a way to do it.

HOD3 has all the extra hardware to do that. Remember the gun
camera board alone is around $180, the sensors are around $20
a piece, then you need the hardware to drive it all. Of course,
Carnevil hardware and software is designed for a raster based
monitor.

So the only practical way to do it is to buy a CRT while you
can still find them.

I haven't worked out how the new Raw Thrills Big Buck Safari works,
but there are only a handful of sensors above the monitor and the
camera board interfaces through a computer USB port. At least it's
cheaper than the Sega or Namco systems.
