Latest Gameroom Sketchup video featuring new games Prop Cycle, Skeeball, and Off Road

Sean was super awesome in making models of my latest buys - Skeeball model H (Tilt branded) and Prop Cycle. He made the mistake of going to someone else for pics and measurements of Prop Cycle, and that person never came through for him (you know who you are! :p). Concerned about Sean getting Prop Cycle done before his long hiatus, I got everything he needed and Sean worked his magic immediately. You are amazing Sean!

This is an HD video so if you want to see it in all its glory, click the YouTube logo to view it on the YouTube site and then choose 720p.

Also, here are the models Sean made (click to view in the sketchup 3d warehouse):

Wow, that layout sure has changed since I was down there. Looks good... but the ICB looks lonely upstairs.

We shall not mention any names.....*cough*cough* TIGHE! :D

LOL. Its all good. By ShanMan's description his cab had several key peices which Tighe's did not, which made the accuracy a little more tight.

Big thanks to you Jeff. Lots of great pics, lots of fast measurements helped create this model super fast. The vectorizing of the rear logo went fast, only taking about 15 minutes. But the bike....woof, that took a considerable bit more time.

Beautiful animation. I wish the camera moved about a second slower in between scenes so that I can soak up the shear size of your collection a bit more.

Thanks guys!

Whacha mean? That's where all my non-video coin op stuff is! I actually think it's starting to become fairly well rounded up there now: air hockey, pinball, icb, skeeball, and payphone (hehe).

Actually, now I know exactly what you were getting at. You are about to offer me your Zeke's Peak to put next to the ICB. Thanks! ;)

Interesting that he hasn't spoken up. Feeling a bit of guilt Tighe? :p

This video is great. Thanks for posting. Can't wait to be there for the re-opening :)

I can't wait either. I know it probably doesn't seem like it to my fellow PAC'ers, but I really am anxious to have you guys over. It won't be long though before they're done with the part of the remodel that affects the game room and once they do it'll be time to schedule a party (and of course it will force me to create a new video!).

Jeff what resolution/ frame rate did you choose when exporting?

720 (16:9), 24 fps. And speaking of PAC party, I hope you can make it this time, Sean!

I just meant cabinet shape wise it looks like it would fit in more downstairs. Zeke's will be staying up in Seattle, thank you very much, and hopefully be coming out of storage sometime before the end of the year.

Your gameroom is awesome, Jeff. It is one of my top three favorites here on KLOV (or anywhere, really). I had always thought that a basement arcade was the ultimate gameroom space, but yours proves that this is a bad assumption, lol. Great job, great layout, great selection of games.

OK, I hear you. I imagine you're thinking that particularly because of how it and the pin butt up to the side of the skeeball. That's really the tradeoff I had to make in putting a 13 footer up there. Originally I was only looking for a 10 footer, which would have allowed me to put it against the window wall which would have meant a more ideal overall layout to the room. But the 13 footer came along and since I figured out that it was possible to get it into the room, of course I wasn't going to pass it up. The only other option layout wise would be to put the pin and icb against the window wall, blocking the window.

That is REALLY nice of you to say. I'm honored by your comment. I'm definitely proud of my gameroom and feel very blessed to have a place like this, but never would have thought of it as being in someone's top 3 gamerooms! If you're ever in the Portland area and want to stop by, don't hesitate to contact me. We might even be able to get a party of local collector (PAC)/klover people together if the timing is right. :)

Oh, and as for basements vs. detached buildings, I'm sure people love their basements, particularly if they're daylight basements, but nothing beats being able to back my trailer right up to the gameroom door and have a new game in place in about 5 minutes without any help!

I wonder how it would look if the ICB was against the skeeball, by the window, and then the pin along the side of the skeeball instead of coming out at a 90 degree angle?

Either way, you have amassed an impressive collection.
