I bought a 'NOS' Asteroids deluxe anti glare bezel from a seller here at KLOV...

Unfortunately, IMO (based on wear in areas similar to my current bezel that are consistant with where the CP clamps closed on it), it's not NOS...If it is, its about as NOS as a new car that falls off the truck at 70 MPH onto the highway while being delivered to dealership...I guess we also cannot assume NOS also means 'good condition' I suppose, caveat emptor.

Anyway, this 'new bezel' is terribly scratched on both the front an back and has swirl marks associated with years of cleaning...Not enough to dump it but certainly too much to have it used on a machine.

So, with that being said, is Novus (1,2 & 3) still the de facto process for dealing with such issues?

Thanks guys!

I don't think there is a consensus to be had. Depends on the severity of the scratches as to how to handle it. IF it doesn't catch on your fingernail the novus products will handle it, if it does you have to sand it down and repolish. That simple.
