Though it might be more accurate to call it the vector cabaret row, since it's leaning that direction. Here's the latest addition, courtesy of KLOVer SkippyJoe (again)… Tempest!

The semi-sad flip side of this story is that I'll be looking to sell the upright Tempest, which was the first game I bought and fixed.

Another great addition. If you don't already have the Multi-Tempest kit, then get one! You'll love it.

BTW, the Tempest cabaret looks a little odd on rollers. I remember a buddy put his Robotron CT on rollers and spent whole games literally rolling the game around the room. :)

I'm waiting on the VectorLabs kit, but haven't heard anything about it in a while. I hope it doesn't end up like the Asteroids multigame. I've seen a few of the Braze kits, but holy crap they're expensive.

I'm torn about the rollers. They are super convenient, but make the lineup look a bit weird. I haven't had problems with the games moving around while I play them. I would be much more motivated to change things around if I had a Dig Dug or Battle Zone cabaret, since it would be way more obvious how uneven things are.

Nice looking Tempest.........
Was this one that passed through your hands? Seems like everything around here has.

Congrats on the cabarets! I'm trying to get one and you've got 5!!! Very nice.

Six! Pac-Man cab rebuild project is in the garage.

Wow what a nice looking Tempest Cabaret! Love seeing it beside your other games. Awesome score! Its my wife's #1 Grail.

Great collection, I'm jealous! I especially love that owl-eyed asteroids too.

Cabarets are so cool, but I just can't find any my way!

Yeah, I really love the owl eye doors. It wasn't original on this cabinet, but it is really cool.

Thanks! It is really nice. There's a reason Tempest was the first game I ever bought.

In a weird coincidence, I googled "tempest cabaret marquee" earlier (I didn't know the cabarets had purple text & wanted to compare)… And found a blog post from a previous owner, the collector who initially rescued it and cleaned it up: https://atarifreak.wordpress.com/2010/01/17/tempest-cabaret-style-cabinet-2004/

I love this kind of thing.
