This thread has inspired me to finish a project I've had on the shelf for a while.
I have a Rowe CD100 jukebox. I have an adapter installed from here:
http://cdadapter.com/ that replaces the CD mech with an ipod. It still runs normally, and the computer thinks it's still connected to the CD mech.
My particular model adapter (which is a little older than the current model), can work with ipod video model. So each "CD" on the jukebox is a playlist, of up to 99 songs. So as it is, it can play 100 CDs of 99 ea = 9900 songs. BUT it can also be setup so that each song can actually play 1 of 100 videos (movie) stored on the ipod video. The adapter plugs into the bottom of the ipod and the audio goes to the jukebox amp from that. You can also get an AV cord that plugs into the headphone jack, which also puts out audio AND composite video.
If I can find enough music videos, I'll probably make a "movie" of maybe 3-5 music videos. Then make 100 different movies. Each will be selectable from the jukebox like regular songs, except these "songs" will play 3-5 videos to the composite out (as well as the audio to the amp). OR you could select the entire "CD" which would then play ALL 100 movies (of 3-5 videos), in random order (not completely random as each would still play 3-5, then be random to the next).
The composite out could either be to an old TV or even a flat screen if it has composite in. Now I just need to find enough music videos!
