the latest addition to my arcade, a Phoenix by Centuri

Never really been on my want list, but came up locally (probably the closest game i've ever bought) and I have space for once, so I picked it up after work on Monday...

Thanks again Mike: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=196807

Its in decent shape, the monitor has some vertical collapse or something and needs a cap kit at least... but otherwise looks like its running fine... T-molding i suspect should be offset-T but has symmetric on it which looks funny, sideart is nice, woodgrain is decent with a few marks, marquee has some light specks but looks good when off... cpo is fine except the cracked edge at the bend...

my first centuri game so thats cool

some weird monitor i've never worked on, but i'm sure there's info out there i haven't looked for yet

maybe i'll add a pleiades board at some point... otherwise a nice addition to the collection

coin door needs the hinge fixed and some reject work...

Phoenix is the first game I got. It was a Final Fight at the time and I eventually converted it back. The side art didn't become available until right after I got rid of the game. Unfortunately, lack of side art was the reason I kicked it to the curb. D'oh!

Good luck with the monitor i had the same issues would think i had it fixed and a few days later same thing. Great game though my kids love ours, and the wood grain with the art is cool .

i have one at home that i just pulled out of storage to start work on.

same tmolding issue and needs replacing with offset tmolding.

mine has a switcher power supply - do you have the original analogue power supply inside ? if so, i'd love to see some pics of the transformer/powersupply and their mounting location so i can restore it to original.!

finally got around to this thing...

now i need to learn how to play...

sorry i must not have seen your post, i'll snap some inside pics this weekend

edit: hmm, can't attach... cap kit fixed sync issue

here's some pics of the inside someone wanted... power supply looks too new (switcher) to be the original, sorry
