This old girl has definitely seen better days. The only cool thing is this she had the rare "Lightning Bolt Backglass"...
Seriously though, the wifey and her father thought the glass was supposed to be like that. While you're playing it actually does look a bit like lightning streaks. (yeah, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!)
The playfield is pretty much toast with loads of missing paint and swirl marks. I've taken the Magic Eraser to it and put 4 or 5 coats of wax on it so far and it's at least playable now.
Biggest thing with this game was moisture and mouse piss. The was a 2' x 2' x 1' mouse apartment in this thing when I got it. It was the worst nest I've ever seen. With this nest came the given mouse pee and smell and I've been working on both those. After a few more applications of a bleach solution I'm going to let it dry out and then seal the thing with seal lock paint.
With all the moisture issues, I've had to rewire 30 or 40 playfield sockets and replace almost all the wiring harness ends in the head. I'm down to 3 non-working lights but two of those are from a bad MC14026 on the Aux. Lamp Driver board. The other non-working light is a transistor on the Lamp Driver board.
I grabbed a bunch of LEDs at the Rochester Game Room show and experimented on this ol' girl and I have to say I like it. With all the lights and sounds she puts out you almost don't notice how bad the playfield is. (again, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!)
There are a few pictures here that show the terrible playfield and how different the machine looks with incandescent and LED lighting...

p.s. Anyone have a lockdown bar for this? If so, please shoot me a PM.
