I had a couple games to pick up in BC last Saturday. It was just the Wednesday before I had finally gotten around to getting my WA enhanced drivers license so I could go north of the border.

Picked up 2 games and was a little nervous about bringing them back to the US. The border guard I had struck up a conversation about them asking if they worked, how many do I have, does the wife approve etc. That made it go real well.

The Sprint 1 I got for $50 and I am currently working on it. The cab was a little shaky so reinforced it with screws from the inside. A couple days ago I cleaned up the CP and relubed the steering. I capped the monitor last night. Today I cleaned most of it, installed a new power cord and hope to reassemble most of it tonight.

The Avalance is a whole different story that may be left untold.......

Here is a quick pick of the 2 and I'll have more pics of the Sprint 1 soon. - Barry

cool, so you did get the Avalanche! i'm looking forward to playing it sometime in the near-ish future, like at the show next year.

I should be able to accomodate that... I am the one who ended up with the Avalanche. In fact, I may only bring black and white machines to the show next year.

The Avalanche tale is rather sketchy to say the least. It should end up with a fairy tale ending thanks to Richard who wanted this game the most and I'm very happy with my $50 Sprint. - Barry

between you and blinddog, we could have one heck of a nice b&w section.

now if only you can get Depthcharge to coin up...

It is now. Iron J. delivered my Head On machine from North Carolina when he travelled back from Afghanistan last month and between the two machines I was able to figure out the problem. I can now play both of them. I could bring as many as five B&W machines next year: Avalanche, Clowns, Depthcharge, Head On, and Video Pinball.

I'm seeing visions of a full on B&W row. I could add Sprint 1 and Grant Trak 10. - Barry
