I figure that since I was in Sacramento and away from the Redwood curtain I would swing by and pick up my last score of 2012... a numbers matching (255) Gravitar! Here are the stats: real solid cab, the control panel overlay has some cracking at the bend and dirty, the tube was real dirty, but once I cleaned it it had almost zero burn. Lower coin door has some rust and I need to replace a burnt coin door bulb. Powered it on and got spot killer and two beeps...swapped the N/P1 ram with K7 and was able to get it in test mode and the beeps changed so I have a bad 2016 ram at K7. The game currently plays "blind"...I am getting some garble that you can see in one of the pics. I need to hit the sides with magic erase to get rid of some marks and tape residue, but it cleaned up fairly nice with a little Windex. I have another one at home so I'll have to see which one is better and get rid of one.

Very cool. I picked up a matching numbers space duel a while back, all SN: 00038. I would love to have a Gravitar.

Wow, another sweet vector find in California... YAWN.

LOL, just kidding. I'm only being sarcastic because I have never seen a Gravitar up for sale in Florida for over 3 years of looking, while they seem to be very plentiful in CA. :) Tempest, Space Duals, Black widows, Gravitars, etc. seem plentiful out there.

Congrats on your pickup!! As you can tell, it's one of my favorite games and mine will never leave my collection. I can say "never" with a pretty straight face.

FWIW, I had to ship mine in to get it here... a sweet, minty gravitar thanks to DJDNS. If I wouldn't have snagged that one a few years ago, I may still be searching!

My ultimate goal would be to find a nice one that has a factory Amplifone installed.. I guy can dream, right?

Looks like an avg problem. Could also be the tl082 op amps.

You are probably correct. I just placed an order for a new 2016 and a replacement for the AVG. I need to dig my other Gravitar out when I get home and see which one to sell off. I had a Space Duel cab that I was going to use as my Multi-Vector cab, but I may just have to use my other Gravitar cab...the artwork is just so cool!

Congrats on the pickup, and agree with Khabbi, in Fl. none of the vectors ever show up for sale we're dry down here as far as classics.
