Last Chance : 'Since 2011' IAML Donor // I just donated $5k

Last Chance to Be a 'Since 2011' IAML Donor.

There is about 26 hours left to donate to the International Arcade Museum Library during 2011.

I believe in the cause. This week I donated $4700 to the IAML. I previously had donated $300, so it took me up to $5k. It makes me the second largest donor to date (http://www.arcade-museum.com/library/donors.php ). My company WebMagic also made a second donation itself bringing its cash total to $1k.

As you might have noticed, we've started to include language specifying how long people have been a donor when they post (donors at the $10 or above level).

I'm asking everyone to consider a year-end tax deductible donation and in the process gain a 'I was there at the beginning' set of bragging rights.

I'll post more tomorrow (on a number of fronts), but I wanted at least to get something up tonight for the benefit of those that might not log on tomorrow.

I'm not asking that you donate $5k, but am asking you to consider $10 or more as your interest and budget permits.

Thank you again for considering it.

Donated. Thanks for all your efforts.

And thanks to all the other members for making this site such an amazing resource.

Happy New Year!

Everyone here should support this effort.. The whole concept of the International Arcade Museum Library (IAML), will help preserve arcades and there history.. I challange all Klovers to support this great effort....:cool: Plus its a tax deductible donation!!!!

I will make everyone on KLOV a personal Challange if 10 people donate and post in this thread by 6pm tonight, I will make another donation and move up 1 fruit level, or If 20 people donate and post in this thread by 6pm tonight, I will donate and move up 2 fruit levels.. :) I can use another Tax Deduction anyway :)

me too, wish I could afford more right now. 5K wouldn't cover the value I've received from this website.

Donated..

Said to say this... But this is the first time I've donated online.. Guess we all have to start somewhere.. Seeing as I've made a few bucks and prolly spend an hour or more a day on klov.. It's time to pay up :)

Here is a call out to all the guys on klov who sell stuff! Why don't you donate the $$$ from your last sale on klov? I just did, wasn't a lot, $50, but its money I wouldn't have had without the help of klov.
So dig some crap out of your garage, under your bed, or where ever you hide it from your wife.. Post it for sale here and donate it.. Those funds could really add up!

That's wonderful... Thank you. Now more people have donated since I opened this thread than have posted here, and I was about to post a list of them in this thread anyway (which I'm doing). If you are on the list though, please go ahead and post yourself as that's part of DJW20's challenge (if I'm reading it correctly).

Donated $50 from my wife's PayPal ([email protected])!

Thanks guys!

Got it...thanks. It really helped that you were logged in when you clicked on the donate button. If a donor is logged in when they click on the button, we send an ID tag to PayPal that PayPal sends back to us when they confirm the donation. It makes it much easier to match donations to accounts here.

.....Donation sent. Not a lot, but every little bit helps right?

Yes, every little bit helps. It's not only the total $, but also the total number of donors that matters.

The success of the IAML is entirely based on 'every little bit' broad support, not just a few large donors.

It also isn't just about the $, but the moral support too. Donors are more likely to tell friends in the future about the IAML. Additionally, the more donors we have the easier it will likely be to go after grants in the future.

thank you
