2 things...is this an add on to an existing Qbert board or stand alone? (dumb question probably I know)

also...the Lost in Space robot you are building is bad ass!

you need an original qbert board to add this product to.

thanks...i thought so, but i was confused by this when I read it, wasn't sure if Main Board meant it was self contained or what:

"Here is the kit which includes the Main Board running a CPLD with a summary of various TTL chips and a serial eprom that saves scores and settings, the smallest board is the Background Graphics Adaptor, the larger board with 4 ROMs is the Foreground Graphics Adaptor, and finally the board with the 40 pin socket is home of the 6502 and is the Sound Adaptor."

Thanks! I just finished up turning some new parts on my crappy Chinese lathe, so that part of the blog will be updated soon too. When the robot is all done, he'll be fully lit and automated with a pic micro-controller & running original and custom (new) voice samples from the original voice actor, Dick Tufeld. He's still active in the robot building community, and does voice work for his fans.
