Hey everyone I am back from my trip to Las Vegas and had a great time. I went to Gameworks which was a total let down :(. Half of the machines didn't work correctly and none of the Pinball machines were working. It was as if they don't have a maintenance person. Is it always like this or did I just go at a bad time? I know they go through alot of abuse. I saw a kid punching the monitor on a game like a punching bag! There also wasn't as many game as I heard. They did have a cool "classic" section of 4 games. Ms. Pacman, Space Invaders, Missile Command, and I can't remember the last one but they all were in wood cabinets which was neat. Also I didn't see a single donkey kong game. They did however have the 4 person sitdown Mario Kart which I thought was only in japan. Ill post a picture of everything later.

Wow. This makes me glad I missed Gameworks. I hit Insertcoins and the PHOF. Both worth it. The pins at Insertcoins weren't anything to write home about, but they had a much better selection of vids than I was expecting. PHOF is just plain awesome. I think I only spent about six hours there total, and I'm pretty sure I'd need at least a couple of days.

I also just heard about the PHOF's "Riviera Annex" in a podcast I was listening to on the way BACK home from Vegas. Next time I'm there hopefully it's still there too and I can check it out.

When I went earlier this year, everything was mostly in good working order.

Insert Coins hadn't opened yet.

The last time I was there, the other game was Moon Patrol.

Myself, I really dislike those cabinets.

I went to the Vegas GameWorks last year in August and almost all of the games were also in good working order. I remember playing the deluxe version of Outrun 2 along with some shooters (HOTD 4, Rambo, etc.) and had a pretty good time. However, it definitely couldn't compare to the PHOF as far as the nostalgia factor.
