Drove from San Diego, to check this out, everything is either not for sale, sold or way to much money, on top of that most of the good stuff was not part of the sale. In desperation I did end up buying some nintendo parts and paid to much.

What was stuff going for?? I ask because Rob had contacted me about buying a large chunk, but hasn't given me prices at all and changes the story on the status of machines... it's for sale, now it's not, now it is...

That's why I more than likely won't deal with him. I told him I would buy all the parts, and I see they are already picking through selling off boards.

Typically, I buy in lots but I won't buy when a lot is picked over.
It makes the pile harder to justify time energy labor and storage.

Funny story about Rob.....

Me and large route operator are at my shop BSing. Rob calls me and says he has 4 or 5 classic games I might want. He's giving me first shot yada, yada, yada. I say give me a few minutes to think about it and I'll call you back.

My op friend phone rings. Its Rob with the same story.

He was trying to sell junk games for high dollar and trying to make all the people think they were exclusive to the deal.
I think this was right before he and Super Auctions started going downhill.

This guy, based on stories here, and a little Google searching seems flakier than a Marie Callendar's crust.

Tron was $700-800 been sitting for 15 years and not it very good cond, the baby pac was $1200 looked ok but im sure it didnt work, Deathrace wasnt for sale killer instinct $1700 all the pins were already sold or not for sale. I tried to buy everything but the operator said he would have to make a list of and price one by one. there was no bulk buy price.

Good to know. Yeah I tried to buy everything a month or so ago, had trucks ready, then they decided to sell individual pieces. Told him I don't play that game, which is why I buy big bulk.

Yesterday I get a call from him at 5:30am and he tells me he is in his way there, all offers in by 1pm, blah blah blah... I tell him it's hard to buy without a list of machines, which is the same thing I told him a month ago. I get a list, had about 45 machines I was interested in plus all the parts, and now he is gone... haven't heard a word since.

I've read all the stories and now I know first hand how much of a flake this guy is. What I want to know is how he still gets these old operators calling him to sell their inventory...

That op probably got taken really good. He probably still has 3 full storages of junk some money but still needs to move the junk

Wanted to snag that Frogger, but my drama and bullshite spidey senses were full tingle tingle.

I want to go to a superauctions just to talk crap to the guy.... Is that wrong?

Have a stack of 1's and ask him to do a dance...

The last I heard the deal is still being shopped around.

Back in the PCB surplus days, there were guys who would put a few good gold bearing PCB boards in a Pile of low grade boards. They would always try to get someone to focus on the better stuff.

This deal reminds me of those days.

Your opinion may differ..

Just got an email from Rob saying everything is being prepared for a single purchase tomorrow, but if it doesn't then this weekend they will be wheeling and dealing...
