Hey Everyone,

I am looking to sell my Landing High Japan Game...

The game is in great shape.. Both monitors and all of the controls work perfect..

The game is setup in both English And Japanese.

I am not sure what to charge for this Machine... Please send reasonable offers along to me..

I am located in So Cal.....The game it setup in my garage if anyone local wants to take a look at it and give it a try..

I have attached a couple of Pics... In the pic the left piece of plastic on the side of the cabinet is missing. I have this piece, however I took it off to get the machine to move through the door.. I will reattach.. If anyone needs additional photos or video, please let me know and I will post them..

Thanks,

Chris

Dude, is this "your game" that you bought for $300 two days ago in Temecula and are trying to sell on C List for $1499.

Gimmie a break Chris....

i am the last one to complain about someone flipping a game, hell i sometimes can have a game sold before i even get it. But come on, at least peel the auction sticker off before you try to sell to the group. I buy at auctions to, but i remove the sticker before i take pictures

Wowie!

A $1199 profit would really be something in this economy. Im averaging -$50 to -$100 profit. LOL! Luckily I have a good job to fall back on.

I did buy it in Temecula yesterday from an arcade.... Along with about 1500 dollars worth of other games.. I was hoping to sell this one to help pay for the others.. I am not sure what the big deal is... I am not trying to rip anyone.. I just got a very good deal.. I have cleaned it up made sure everything works...

I do not expect to get $1500 for it.. I already offered to a member of this site for $900.00

Just because I only paid $300 does not mean that it is not worth more.....There is one on Ebay right now for $2000.

I just joined this forum and began this hobby buy buying an original Centipede machine and restoring it....

Did not mean to cause any problems.....

This isn't a good place to flip games - we all go to the same places depending on area and know what goes on. Right when I saw the first post I was thinking you got this at auction and are trying to flip it - and sure enough, you were called out.

No big deal, it's just that we're a bunch of cheapskates for the most part, or at the very least know what to get for a game. Good luck on the sale, and stick around; don't just try and sell stuff, you might enjoy yourself...

Hi Havok,

I will take your advice... When I posted the game for sale on this website I did not post a price.. I just asked that Reasonable offers be sent to me..On CL I did post a price based on what this same game was selling for on Ebay and Arcade Game brokers...

I found this site a couple of weeks ago and have found lots of good people and help...

I am just trying to support my new hobby..

Thanks,

Chris

That's funny about not trying to rip anyone off. I was the one he offered it to for $900. When I got the pics and saw the Super Auction sticker, I knew it was 3 times what he paid for it. I'll just keep trying the auctions until I get my hands on one since they are being discontinued from Tatio.

If someone is trying to sell at a reasonable price, why do people get upset if they find out the seller got it for a great price? What does it matter? I have found this attitude many times and it just doesn't make sense. Are you going to say to the grocery store owner "I'm not going to pay $6.00 for that case of pop because I know you only paid $1.00 for it"?

I guess that's why I stopped saying any prices I paid for things or bragging about any great deals. If the time ever does come to sell, people just can't seem get by that and they expect you to sell it under market value for no other reason than you got it for under market value.

What's really funny is if the potential buyer doesn't know what you got it for, they're often more than willing to pay market price for the same item.

So you might have been willing to pay $900 for it and then changed your mind only because you figured out they bought it (much cheaper) at Super Auctions? Why would that change anything?

I have to agree. What does it matter? Auction sticker on, purchased for a dollar. You guys would try to profit as well so you sound like hypocrites.

The only problem I would have is the sick feeling I got swindled. I would prefer not to know what a seller paid - it makes me feel better. Pure psychology. Of course if I was some rich bastard, then obviously I wouldn't care, or if I had to absolutely have this, then I would feel bad about the markup he made, but would just suck it up since I wanted it so bad.

Every game is worth what the buyer is willing to pay for it, regardless of how much you paid or invested in it.

With that said, this place is for passing along DEALs and avoiding eBay fees, if you want the most money sell it on an auction site.

While that would be absolutely AWESOME to have in my garage, there are VERY few games I'm willing to drop $900 on.

I think $300 - $500 would be a fair price, given the size. Size always lowers price on games, unless it's the EDOT that people go nucking futz over. ;-)

+1 $300 to $500 is the right range.

I knew the $900 was out of line even before I saw the sticker. I was informed by the seller he didnt know what these were worth. I agree with what someone else said about if you are looking for top dollar, then sell on Ebay or even CL. If you try selling it here, price police will get you. As many have stated before, we are cheap SOB's. I think most of us will pay "extra" for a game we really want or is just too hard to find or is in such great shape. Just my 2 cents, now back to our regularly scheduled program.

Seller should have taken the auction sticker off the game before posting but this shouldn't detract from the fact it's a nice game. People pay for convenience. Granted you can find anything you want for the price you'd like to pay but who knows how long that will take?

I'm sure we've all bought something at a convenience store very well knowing the item has been greatly marked up. We do it because we don't want to drive x amount of miles to the grocery store and wait in line.

I'm sure we can all get one of these for $300 or even less but how many auctions will you have to go to or how many hours will you spend on the internet tracking one down?

There is a big thread somewhere on here all about prices
I am just to lazy to search for it right now.
Here is one of them, but not the one I was thinking of.
http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=88724&highlight=price+paid+game

and I like this thread about what some have paid for games
http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=66875&highlight=price+paid+game

I find buying games is like buying a car.
You get the best deal your willing to pay and be happy with it because there will always be someone saying you paid too much!! Always

As in my un-updated signature you can see I've been looking for the same game with a different name. I want the 3 screen version and missed out on one on the bay because the seller could not spell the name right. That one sold for 600-800 dollars

I guess I just don't understand some of the comments.. I paid $300 for this game from an Arcade. I did not buy it from Super Auctions (He did, he had about 35 various machines with these stickers)...If the cheapest I can find it for is $2000 on Ebay or $3000 from arcade equipment.com why is it so bad that I offered to a member here for $900.00? Seems like a good deal... Far from a rip-off......

I am even willing to lower the price somewhat.... I would prefer a hobbyist buy it rather than an arcade....

I guess I will be a little more cautious in posting on these forums..
