I won't keep you in suspense. A super nice Atari Liberator :D The game is a A- to B+ machine. Works flawlessly.

I could believe it when I saw it sitting there. Anyone have a clue on the value?

C'mon, I've been hitting garage sales EVERY weekend with the wife looking for "THE SCORE", well any arcade related score.

It's yet to happen.

Oh, and congrats on the pickup.

The value is whatever you paid for it. You just set the new KLOV price for a Liberator. Congrats...

i think I like the side art enough that the fairly lame game play can be forgiven.

Looks like I gave about the right price. I didn't wan't to cough it up, but I guess I couldn't let it sit there and get picked up my some meathead who would leave it in a wet garage.

Going back tomorrow. He has a few pins in his basement.

Nice. I love stumbling upon games. I went thrift store shopping looking for cheapo 19" TVs and within a month I scored a $50 Pole Position and a $190 Space Duel from those stores. Havent seen a game anywhere since.

The fella had an RBI that was pretty nice, but the cabinet was just one of those brown generic cabs and he was selling it for the same price as the atari.

It is still sitting there. He sold 3 other pinballs (old school wedge heads)

I have NEVER seen an arcade game at a garage sale...

I did see a mini pinball table once... little kids one... not the cheesy little one with a cardboard playfield... it actually had a matrix display an all... I think they wanted too much for it

I can't wait for the day I find a machine at a garage sale, or thrift store... heck... even an auction would be nice

I've seen 4 games at garage sales -

A taito cab with world series baseball I bought for $35.00
A DK Junior that a friend bought for a reasonable price
A Heavy Barrel that was trashed for $100 - I passed
A Astro Fight cocktail today for $200 - I passed

I have yet to find any at a thrift store though. - Barry

Its a very rare game, just not that popular. I think its a very good game.

I would not sell mine, but I think $250-$500 is what they are worth.

Lucky! I am very jealous right now. Liberator has possibly one of the coolest looking cabinet artwork of any arcade machine. The game itself is kinda cool too.

I have actually found one arcade machine at a garage sale before: A trashed Frogger for $20. But, it was working.

I've only seen one yard sale game... a Konami Jail Break in a converted Taito Crazy Climber. Still had the CC bezel, and the orange and white Taito color scheme. Guy wanted something like $300.00, so I passed.

Kyle

I really like the game play, it is fun and can be very challenging. It gets some repeat play when my kids and their friends are around. Too me kid play is an interesting gauge of game worthiness. I really don't think the going price for a Liberator reflects the value of the game. I got mine in a warehouse raid pretty cheap. It it is the first thing I came out with and I would have a hard time parting with it. Congrats on the find! What serial number does yours have?
