Do any of you guys go to these places? Would you if you could find one?
What would keep you coming back?
I SERIOUSLY want to open a business that would focus on games...
I know a classic arcade wont cut it
I know a LAN center wont cut it
I know a used gamestore wont cut it

If I can combine all three into one location I think it might work...
Any input is welcomed
Thanks!

I have been thinking of kinda the same way, but all I have figured out is that it takes alot of resources and money, one of things is tables and chairs and the computers that will go with them, security is another thing and making sure people who use the computers dont do anything that would get you in trouble, but all i can say for now is goodluck

A few years back a guy locally opened a place called... well... hell, I don't know what it's called. You can't read his sign.

He partnered with a place called Quesadilla factory, and seems to be doing well.

I know he has a ton of large TVs and a LAN center. And a bunch of nice rolling chairs

Personally, I would never go to a place like this to play games. Add a nice place for food, and I would eat there, and probably play games while I was there.

I stopped doing LAN parties when I couldn't afford to build a new computer every few years... and all my best LAN memories are of crowded rooms, or a local senior center, with a bunch of friends. Drinking bawls... and listening to people curse at each other while playing Unreal Tournament or Counterstrike... the originals...

I know little late to the party RIGHT!
I want to focus on an arcade type feel with coin op being the major focus but I think it would need something else (game store) to really make it survive..
