Wondering if anyone can give me some safe tips to clean an original Blue laminate DK? Cabinet is a little dirty and would love to freshen it up. Also wondering best way to remove side art? Thanks

Search. Bunches of threads about this, already...

Magic Eraser.

Why you wanting to take side art off...?

I know we had several threads about removing side art... From my bad memory, heating it up was a huge help. Whether by heat gun, or a heated razor-blade type device. Both sold very inexpensively at Harbor Freight stores...

Shame on you! :D

Heat gun. Harbor Freight. Like... $10 or something. Maybe $20. I keep meaning to buy one for myself...

I know a lot of you guys buy stuff from Harbor Freight, and I have bought my fair share of "tools" from there, but the heat gun I got from them did not last very long. I broke down and bought the Milwaukee one from Home Depot with a 5 year warranty. Sure is built waaay better. Anybody else have bad luck with their Harbor Freight heat guns?

FACT:

All tools purchased at Harbor Freight will eventually be used as a hammer

I was thinking projectile, but I see what you did there.

:D

I have a few HF items that have withstood the test of time, but most are utter crap, yes. But they will work at least 5 times...

remove side art with a heat gun or blow dryer that gets really hot. then clean up the cabinet with some simple green and some elbow grease
