I'm in the process now of applying black laminate to a multicade cab....sides only. The problem I'm facing is that I ordered the laminate and it was shipped to me from out of state.
There is a clear, shiny smooth side and a flat looking "slight" textured other side. I'm assuming the glue would be applied to the textured side.
The shiny side is scuffed and does not look that great. You would think there would be some type of thin protective shield over it that you would peel off and there is not.
The textured side actually looks better being flat colored and all but am concerned about the graphics sticking to it as I know they would stick to the smooth side very well.
I'm torn here and ready to apply the laminate. This is my first time applying laminate and would love any suggestions. See the photos below.
