laMeOMA Auction in MN

I didn't get any other pictures in the "Bidding Zone", maybe some of you other fellas did-- I stayed out of that mess. I heard that the Super Chexx hockey bubble table went for $700? Did I hear correctly on that?!? Anyway, there were two Stun Runners in the mix that I can recall as well as an APB and a couple, Chris-O-Licious, Special Criminal Investigation URs. I like the back room with the dedicated Centi and that later model circa Atari Games. That is all from my report.... Carry on...

Yeah the Chexx went for like $650-700.... that was the top selling game of the day i believe. I'd love to get one of those, but i just dont have the room. The Harley Davinson Game was at like $500... Tapper... pfft... a small $350-375... TMNT went for like $310... but there weren't many other games that went above 300 if i remember correctly. Centipede caberet... $275 i think?

Think i got Strikers 1945 III machine w/ 25" WG7000 for $150 and a Snow Bros. in a super clean painted black Joust/Moon Patrol style williams cab for $50.... Both machines working.. I shouldn't have bought anything but when do you find a Striker 1945 III ? I love me some Shoot'em up's! ha ha

I think the Centi cabaret went for $250... Which one are you in the pics Low-Gain? Are you one of the dudes playing the Super Chexx?

Good to see all of you and yeah this year the prices were a bit lower than last. It was nice not to see the few people that bid and dont stop until they win it. I think the tapper and a few other games like a single Daytona USA for 150 Sitdown stun runners for 80 and the Rowe 100CD A's all for right around 200 were great deals. Phet got a Very nice looking Primal Rage for pretty cheap and many of the touchscreens were more than reasonable at 200-280.

I missed the secret room but oh well coming out of there with more than I wanted was enough. Maybe next year I'll bid a bit on the wall mount Jukes. That was the first time I've seen those there in four years and for cheap prices.

Talking to the auctioneer's after the sale it sounded like there will be another next year and that this was a pretty low in prices. I guess places like Texas and the coast pay outrageous prices for junk. Couple of guy's I talked to said that the Jigglebees auction in south dakota pulled in crazy prices like 650 for a tekken 2 and 950 for a SF2... Hope that never happens here.

Again good to see all of you and can't wait for all these games to start showing up on CL and K-Bid.

I got the super chexx $625 and the TMNT $320(my grail since i started collecting)I was more than happy for what i paid for both. Now i just need to unload a couple games and pins and i start looking for my pinball grail AFM.

Well you gotta love it took one day to see stuff right up on CL for more than double the money

yeah we all do it, but come on at least do something to them like clean them up Please at least take the stickers off them stating they were from the auction and how much they went for. I should offer the guy 245 for the wall mount since that's what he paid for it. Oh well to those of us that thought about a wall mount juke. maybe next year.

Washing them causes profit loss, lol, we really are spoiled knowing where and how to get this stuff for a good price. The average person searching google for arcade machines thinks they cost over 2000.....
