LA Machineguns vs. Star Wars Trilogy Deluxe: Can't decide

Right now I'm looking at getting one of the arcade machines noted in the title for only $600. I was wondering if anyone remembers playing both of them and which would be the most bang for the buck as far as replayability goes as well as collecting. If I'm remembering correctly, Star Wars is a pretty long game to be an arcade, but I also remember LA Machineguns being a lot of fun. I'm guessing it's going to be a long, decent action game vs. a short very intense action game, but it's been a long time since I've played either one.

And yes, I would buy both in a heartbeat, but I do not have the space for both :(

I've had both and sold both. LA Machine guns was the 50" version with rumble base. I would take back the Star Wars Trilogy before the LA Machineguns--and I'm not a huge Star Wars fan. I felt LA was too much mindless shooting that didn't require skill.

I got through the entire Star Wars Trilogy game using less than $5 in quarters.

Before buying it, I'd find one on location and play it all the way through, and if you still like it and think it would be worth the money and the effort, then pull the trigger.

If you are talking sheer presence of coolness, you can't beet the pink/blue glow of the neon for a SWT:deluxe. As for the LA Guns, look closely at the monitor as it would have to be in very good mechanical condition if its the 50" rear projector. If it was weak, faded or just looked poorly, I would pass as you may never find a decent one to replace it with short of putting in a big LCD panel in. But the 50" rumble base is an experience within itself. You shoot down a chopper and you feel it hit the ground. Not sure if I have had a similar experience with anything else. But again, I would vote for SWT:deluxe on looks alone.
