Anyone know whether there is a flyback available for these? The part number is FN-1441BB. Schematic lists it as a FN-1441.

I have a couple I'd like to fix if I can find the flyback...

I'm probably the last person on here who has good advice, but I thought I'd just add this. Does this have a K1-2-V0 chassis number? I replaced my Kortek flyback with one Bob has. The part number of my original flyback didn't match Bob's cross reference (or look like it), but it still worked.

EDIT: After reading my old Kortek threads and the advice Ken gave me, this information is probably useless. FYI Betson also deals with Kortek too, in case Casinotech can't help. When I called Betson I was actually able to talk to a tech who worked with Kortek's.

Mod......I'm working on one of these Korteks, KTN-2001. I had a diode blow next to the cap. Can you walk me through how to test the flyback? I can work a meter with no problem.

Thanks,
Clay

Mod,

You were right on. The flyback is shorted. Trying to locate a FM1411BB flyback. Does not seem too common.

I'm not 100% sure, but when I was talking to Chad @ Arcadecup.com, he led me to believe that the WG19K7302 (vision pro clone) used the same flyback. At the time, he had a prototype that he'd used for testing a production run of these flybacks, if they are the one you're looking for.

I bought his prototype, and was going to use it to repair a spare 7302 board I had here, but since it's a spare, I'd sell it to you. Otherwise, looking at Chad's page, it appears he's got a few more in stock now.

Betson does not carry this part anymore and tried to sell me a $400 LCD. Anyone know of another parts source?

Bob Roberts has them listed as "Kortek Flyback" for $35.00. If you look at the image relating to that listing, it shows the FN-1441BA as one of the part numbers.

And if you haven't, I'd definitely check with Chad at ArcadeCup.com.

Edit: ArcadeShop.com also lists them available. Search for FN-1441 on their parts page: http://www.arcadeshop.com/parts.htm

Just so everyone knows, Betson and Happ no longer carry these. I got two from Bob Roberts.

Can someone describe the symptoms of a blown flyback?

Might anyone have saved a copy of the KTN-2001 service manual before it was removed from the service site? I see other manuals, but noting specific to the 2001. Or maybe someone has a working link.

I have a chassis that shows raster, but no colors from my testbed. I can swap a different chassis and everything is good, so it is the board(s). Also, i notice tons of static at the front of the tube on the non-working chassis - does this point to anything?

thanks

When my WG 19K7302 (Vision Pro / Kortek clone) had the flyback go, the screen had raster, but no colors. Image was barely there. I sent it to Carl Blessing at allgood and he confirmed the flyback had died.

Thanks guys.

I measured B+ on the bad chassis at the input to the neckboard, and I can't get it down to 125. Initially it was about 181, and i can adjust it to 134, but no lower.
