So I got this Wild Western cabinet back in December.

It was sold to me dead, and unlike some other taitos I've come across, getting her going wasn't as easy as pulling the interlock switches or buying an arcadeshop power supply. It wasn't long before I was into board repair territory that was far beyond what I'm capable of. The board was completely dead (no audio or video) so I didn't even know where to start. I started looking for help and I was lucky enough to get talking with Kerry who offered to fix up my Wild Western board and a Frontline board I bought non working from a klover, all for what I would consider to be a reasonable price.
It took awhile, and it sounded like he did a lot of chip and board swapping, but I got a package in the mail yesterday.
After fiddling with these for months, it was a great feeling to power them up and see them working. I couldn't be happier! We're really lucky to have people like Kerry who take an interest in these old games enough to earn a certain level of expertise. Thanks a ton bud!!
