I've been on a Taito kick lately.....What I wanted to know does anybody remember seeing any of these 2 back then? Played a Tin Star back then not knowing how rare that is but fast forward to a couple of years ago,I didn't know these 2 existed! How's the gameplay on any of these if you have played them? I assume must were conversions and a handfull of dedicated?

...

Ive never seen a converted Electric Yo Yo or Kram. Only dedicated.

here is one I picked up an auction years ago:

I played Electric Yo-Yo quite a bit back in the arcade days. I always liked the game play. Pretty unique. Can't think of a similar game off hand. Seems to be pretty rare now days. Try it in MAME. The controls are pretty simple, joystick and button, so you can get a good idea of the game just playing it with a keyboard. It's a pretty hard game.

I never played or heard of Kram during the arcade days. Only learned of it after getting into the hobby. I got lucky and one pretty much fell in my lap on a local buy. I like the game play a lot. You can try this one in MAME too to get an idea of it. Another pretty rare game though. I think I've only seen one come across on ebay in all these years.

Taito had a main branch in the Chicago area and the guy that wrote Kram lives about 15 minutes from me. Very nice guy. Good stories about Taito back then.

Nice...I should've know you had one, Jon. How is it as far as gameplay, horrible, hence the limited release?

Joe one time in the future I have to pay a visit to your arcade!!!!!

I ended up selling mine before I moved up here to Colorado.
If I remember right Anthony P of Quarter Arcade got it.

The game itself was alright. I was not happy with the condition of the game, so I got rid of it. Funny though cause I havent seen one since :\

The worst part is.... I've never ever seen a marquee or a flyer for sale even.....

I think tim had all the taitos one year at CAX(also had space dungeon). Before that show, I don't think I ever saw kram or electric yoyo in an arcade.

I don't recall Kram.
I never saw an Electric Yo Yo in the day, but we had an arcade on the other side of town that had a Space Dungeon and a Pirate Pete. Never have seen them since.

My local arcade had a Kram when it came out. I picked up a Kram back in the late 90's but ended up giving to Tim at arcadecollecting who then traded it off to another collector in Utah.
I do have a marquee for Kram in my collection-o-marquees.

My Kram was is decent shape. It's been many years since I had it. I think I gave it to Tim back in 1999 or 2000. I don't recal seeing a Yo Yo flyer. I don't think I have one in my Taito flyer collection.

i am looking for a kram and electric yo-yo i love taito games. their gamesplay is all alittle off from the more popular games but there is just aa certain quality that they all have that makes them special

I've never seen in the wild or even played either game those are 2 rare titles

Space Dungeon, another one I never played or heard of until I started collecting. Very difficult game. So hard, even on the easiest setting that it's not any fun. A little bit like Venture in that you have to go to different rooms and a little like Robotron in that you move and fire.

I didn't care for it at all and was very happy to trade mine for an I,Robot.

Of the 3, I like Kram the best and Electric YoYo next, with Space Dungeon last.
